We are a friendly and supportive group of hobbyist beekeepers based in and around Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

We hold winter meetings every third Wednesday of the month, September through to April which you are welcome to attend to meet our members, ask questions and plan how you wish to start your beekeeping journey the following spring.

The Asian hornet is a dangerous and non native species invading the UK
and threatening our honey bees and other native insects.

Bee Imports
We promote the native honey bee and as an affiliate of both the British Beekeepers Association
and Yorkshire Beekeepers Association, Rotherham Beekeepers Association
discourages the importation of both honey bee queens and
colonies from outside the UK.
