Joining RBKA

For just £34 per year there are many benefits of becoming a RBKA member, including:

  • Third party and public liability insurance through BBKA

  • Monthly meetings and talks through the winter months

  • Free support, advice and guidance

  • Association discounts with certain retailers

  • Training in all aspects of beekeeping

  • Make friends and collaborate with other local beekeepers

  • Access to the Sheffield Beekeepers Association Members Bulk Purchase Scheme (online discounted shop)

We are happy for new beekeepers to attend our winter programme meetings before becoming paid members so that they can get a feel for what beekeeping involves before paying any fees. You need to be a paid member to sign up for our beginner's course.

If you are interested in joining the RBKA please use the 'contact us' form on the Contacts page stating you are interested in becoming a member and we will contact you via email.

BBKA (and YBKA and RBKA) membership year runs from 1st August to 31st July.
